We had a fantastic stay at an apartment in a charming village. The apartment was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The high ceilings made it feel even more spacious. Our kids loved the log burner, and the thoughtful treats left for our dog. The location was perfect for exploring nearby beaches and castles. We were so impressed that we've already booked a return visit in January. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

I recently stayed at a cozy apartment in a charming village and it was absolutely delightful! The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, making it a cozy and comfortable home away from home. The high ceilings added an extra touch of spaciousness, and the log burner was a hit with the kids - they even asked for one for Christmas! The owners had thoughtfully provided a towel and treats for our beloved springer spaniel, making sure he felt welcome too. Adjusting the heating was a breeze, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby village with its cute shop and café. The welcome book had plenty of recommendations for walks, and we even visited some stunning beaches and a picturesque castle during our stay. The attention to detail, from the welcome gifts to the well-documented guidebook, really made this stay special.
The only downside was the steep and narrow staircase leading up to the apartment, but considering it's the original structure of the building, it's understandable. Additionally, we missed having a cafetiere, but we managed just fine.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of The Burnside Apartment in Fettercairn. The decoration was simply delightful, with lovely touches throughout the apartment. The comfortable lounge area with the wood burning stove was perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring. As a senior woman, I appreciated that everything was well thought out and accessible. The general areas of the apartment were clean and tidy, making it easy for me to move around and feel at home. The central location in the village was also a big plus, allowing me to easily explore the beautiful surroundings.
The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the children working there to pay a little more attention to the external staircase leading up to the apartment. It was quite steep and had debris on it, which made it slightly dangerous, especially when it rained.

Beautiful decor and attention to detail make this apartment a delight to stay in. The hosts have put a lot of effort into the small things, like leaving a welcome gift and treats for your dog, which really enhances the experience. • The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen and a wood-burning stove that provides a cozy atmosphere. The hosts have also provided an extensive welcome book that covers everything you need to know.• The location of the apartment is perfect, right in the center of the village. It's a great base to explore the beautiful surroundings and unwind in a quiet and relaxing environment.
The only downside is the steep and narrow stairs leading up to the apartment. While this is understandable due to the building's original structure, it can be a bit challenging to navigate, especially if it's raining and debris is present on the steps.

The well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful welcome gifts add a personal touch. The village's small shop and nearby cafe make amenities convenient.
