Quiet atmosphere, MARVELLOUS location very close to Fettercairn, and the centre of the village. Location in the middle of the city. Nice welcome from host. Comfortable bed, hypoallergenic pillows.

Well-equipped apartment with modern furnishings, including a new kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed with crisp sheets and fluffy towels. Thoughtful welcome basket with homemade shortbread, tea, coffee, and fresh milk. Beautiful decor and attention to detail throughout. Excellent local information pack and cozy wood-burning stove.

I felt at home thanks to the owner, and I enjoyed the privacy of having a bathroom to myself as well as having convenient amenities like an electric kettle, dishwasher, and fridges provided, in a peaceful and stunning city center location.

Our kids loved the log burner, and the thoughtful treats left for our dog. The location was perfect for exploring nearby beaches and castles. We were so impressed that we've already booked a return visit in January. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Our Christmas stay was fantastic - we had a relaxing bath, enjoyed a view of the river from our window, and loved being in the heart of town as well as close to the village center!

The apartment was spotless and cosy, with well-decorated rooms and high ceilings that created a spacious feel. the log burner was a hit with the kids and the heating was easy to adjust. the village had a small shop and a nearby cafe, and there were plenty of walking routes available.

The only downside was the steep and narrow staircase leading up to the apartment, but considering it's the original structure of the building, it's understandable. Additionally, we missed having a cafetiere, but we managed just fine.

The general areas of the apartment were clean and tidy, making it easy for me to move around and feel at home. The central location in the village was also a big plus, allowing me to easily explore the beautiful surroundings.

The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is for the children working there to pay a little more attention to the external staircase leading up to the apartment. It was quite steep and had debris on it, which made it slightly dangerous, especially when it rained.
